On Oct 12, 2022 I had my right shoulder Rotator Cuff Repaired. A prior MRI said I had a full tear, so I thought it would be a good idea to have it repaired.
It all started last fall when Coco and I cornered a squirrel on the screen on the outside of our back porch. I am pretty sure the initial contact was entertaining for the squirrel as neither Coco or I can move very fast or posed much of a threat. In what was the heat of the moment when I realized the squirrel was toying with us I threw a small broom at it. About a second later I felt and heard a pop in my right bicep. A visit to my primary care Dr confirmed the “torn bicep” diagnosis from Dr Google. So I did the MRI which confirmed the torn bicep diagnosis and also uncovered the torn rotator cuff injury.
Mon Dec 12, 2022: My range of motion continues to be very good. I am starting to do more in PT, now I use a stick and raise it in front of me, behind me and like bench pressing. I am not supposed to lift more that a couple pounds.
